This homestay was the brainchild of Kanwar Pushpendra Singh Jhala, who worked at a tea plantation for many years before retiring to Jaipur. The property has five large bedrooms and huge lawns. The place is newly renovated and provides all the amenities that one desires. 6. Jai Vilas

Jai Vilas strikes the right balance between cosy and traditional. The architecture and design aren’t so posh to make you feel intimidated, and neither so comfortable that it doesn’t feel like a unique experience. They also have a pool for the summer months, although you might not need it for this festival.
