Mishti Doi Cheesecake & Nolen Gur Cupcakes By This Home Baker Are Perfect For Pujo Gifting
Pujo is coming and we can almost hear the dhakis and smell the incense from the pandals. The good people of Delhi are already setting up huge arenas for the 5-day festival that always has the best of Bengali food to sample from. Plus, we all look forward to the awesome Bengali sweets that we binge on during this time of the year. This home baker in Green Park is making her own version of the classic Bengali sweet dishes and you can get them for gifts for this festive season.
First Things First
Shinjini Sen has been baking for a while and she’s just started taking orders after people around her insisted that she let the world taste all that she has to offer. Her bakery brand goes by the name of Binjin Bakes. For the pujo season, she’s gone back to her roots and picked out iconically Bengali flavours to add to her desserts. She’s making Coconut Cupcakes with Nolen Gur Frosting, Banana Cupcakes with Chocolate Ganache and Toasted Sesame Seeds, and a very delicious Mishti Doi Cheesecake that is just so beautifully creamy. If you’re still looking to do something different for Durga Puja this year, or are looking to gift something more than a box of sweets, Binjin is who you should call.
She also makes cakes in other flavours, and she’ll customise flavours as per your liking as much as possible. All orders need to come in at least 24 hours in advance, and if you’re placing your orders during the festive season, you must give her a 2-day notice at least. At the moment, Binjin only delivers in and around Green Park, but you can request for her address if you’d like to pick up your order instead.
You can contact her at Binjin Bakes’ Facebook page.
