If you do catch a cold somehow, try this hot toddy to beat the flu. Of course, there is no need to wait till then, simply make yourself a cup right now (It’s that exquisite)!
Add whisky, lemon juice and honey in a cup. Pour hot boiling water from the top and stir to mix. Garnish with a lemon slice and drink!
Spiked Ginger Green Tea
Green tea in itself has ample benefits to persuade you to have a cup, but coupled with ginger and liqueur, we don’t really need to convince you, do we?
Add a ginger green tea bag to boiling water and let it steep for 5-7 mins depending upon your palate. Pour into a cup and spike it with a green tea liqueur.

Apple means vitamin C and iron, while cinnamon helps promote good digestion, a combination of both is just what your immune system needs to fight off these winters!
Pour apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, cinnamon, honey and water in a pan and heat. Upon reaching the desired temperature, remove and serve in a glass/cup. If you are serving guests, add a cinnamon stick on the side to intensify flavour as per requirement.
Orange Chamomile Tea
Chamomile tea is rejuvenating on its own, but mix in some orange zest with honey and you will have a tea unlike any other.
While steeping the chamomile tea bag in warm water add a few orange wedges to impart the flavour. Once fully steeped, pour in a cup and add honey. Garnish with another orange wedge and serve.
Not all shots are made with vodka! This season, skip the alcohol (at least during the day) and make yourself a shot of health with ginger and cloves.
Combine lemon juice, fresh ginger and cloves along with water. Let the flavours infuse and strain before adding to the shot glass. Top with cayenne pepper before shooting it into your system.
