Conventional Mint, Coriander & Green Mango Chutney With A Tangy Twist

The classic mint and coriander chutney has for ages been the favoured condiment for savoury Indian snacks like the samosas and kachoris. Here’s how you can make your green chutney taste different, with just a few simple ingredients!

Serves: 3-4

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 5-10 minutes

The Elements:

3 cups fresh coriander leaves

1 cup mint leaves

2-3 green chillies, chopped

6-8 cloves of garlic

1 raw mango, chopped

Salt, to taste

¼ teaspoon asafoetida (hing)

1 teaspoon cumin seeds


Throw in all the ingredients into a blender and grind until a smooth fine paste is obtained! Your chutney is ready – yes it is just that easy! Don’t forget to store the chutney in an airtight container.
