While travelling via railways the only issue which we all have is about the food which is being served in trains like Rajdhani, Shatabdi and Duronto. Well, Indian Railways is coming with a feedback system where the passengers can rate and give feedback about the food through tablets in Indian Railways.

Tablets In Indian Railways For Feedback

Yes, you heard that right. The passengers travelling from premium trains like Rajdhani, Duronto and Shatabdi will now be able to rate the food served through an online feedback form on tablets.

As told to The Economic Times, ”Around 100 tablets have so far been given by the Railways to on-board supervisors of the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) in different railway zones for recording customer feedback on food quality, staff behaviour and other related issues,” said the official.

Till now the IRCTC receives feedback through an on-board suggestion book or its Twitter handle. However, through the new system, it will lead to immediate redressal as when the passenger gives the feedback, the software on the tablet will record his/her name, phone number and train details. The food will be rated on the parameters like quality, quantity, presentation, staff behaviour and overall satisfaction.

We are looking forward to this great initiative taken by the Indian Railways.
