EatTreat Bytes: Quick & Easy Cucumber Pickles For Munching On While You Netflix

We Indian love pickles, the little spicy and tangy flavour goes with everything and we can’t ever get enough of them. While it takes a long time to make the traditional Indian pickle, we’re giving you a recipe for quick and easy cucumber pickle. Put them in sandwiches, on appetisers, or just have them as is while Netflixin’ by yourself!

Quick and Easy Cucumber Pickle

Ingredients

02 empty jars with lids

03 tbsp sugar

03 tbsp soy sauce

Salt

03 tbsp chilli oil

02 tbsp dry red chilly

04 medium sized cucumbers

Method

  • Boil water in a pan and mix all the ingredients except for the cucumber.
  • Cut cucumbers into thin slices.
  • Add cucumbers and the mixture into the jars.
  • Let it cool and you’re good to go. 

#EatExtra: Dip your glass jars in warm water before you pour in the hot mixture and cucumbers so the glass doesn’t break.
